EOY Reflection

My time at Vardon has been very appreciated because I have made lots of friends and I had lots of teachers to have i went from junior to middle to senior. My favourite thing is athletics because I am really good at high jump. The most challenging part of this year is coming in to Rm14.

Dream Job Competition

Our classroom RM 14 has been doing a dream job competition. this is what we had to do first we had to do is write a story about a job. any job you want but you have to make sure the job is made up from you my job is when you can create land you are wondering how do you make the land ? well this is how first you draw the land and then you copy it in to the magical wonder land machine then you paste it and then you have created land that's cool right.

School Pool

I think that the School pool should be demolished because if we fix some years later we will have to pay for it again you are probably thinking how much it is. I will tell you how much it costs it costs $60,000 dollars so if we demolish it we can just make something else like a playground or another classroom or a library.That is what I think.

Fruit kebabs

For fruit kebabs we had to get into groups to choose your fruit.Once you have got into your groups you sort out a fruit you would like to bring you could bring any fruit like grapes strawberries apples and oranges once we have sorted out our fruit that we are going to bring the day after that we bring our fruit to finally make our kebabs we share out the fruit to put on your kebabs and we each got a marshmallow with chocolate sauce on our kebabs.The favourite part I liked was eating the kebabs.

My Habitat Box

A habitat box is a box that we made into a animals habitat say a Rhino. My habitat box shows a Rhino with where it sleeps and where it eats and also what its scared of.The hardest thing of my habitat box was me making a rhino with to cotton balls and and ear buds. because it is hard to get the ear buds in the right shape for the rhinos horn. The part I really liked about my habitat box was my hand made rhino and leopard and the things I bought from the two dollar shop from the centre place and I also liked my background.

Production 2015

For the production I was in the South African group.We did the gumboot dance and a song called the lion sleeps tonight. For the production my favourite thing was the Filipino pictures behind a sheet.My suggestions for the production was we should all have the same actions but we do it different ways for the south African group.My favourite group out of all of them was the Irish group because I really liked the Irish dancing and the costumes.

School Production

For the production I'm in the south African group. I performed to do the gumboot dance. But for the in the jungle song I am a rhino. The south African group does the gumboot dance first and then we do a song called in the jungle. If you were wondering a gumboot dance is a native dance that south African people did to protest it is now often performed at welcoming ceremonies. I am most nervous about the show tonight because it is hard for me to do.

Friendship Boxes

Friendship boxes are boxes to write notes. in by the end of the term everyone should have a note from everyone in this class we only write good notes not bad notes for example To Jack for being an awesome friend From Kaspar. These friendship boxes are used for writing friendship notes to each other for this term. So we get to have more friends in this class. We have made these for we are learning to make friends and how to keep them. I found tricky folding the actual box.

Seven Sharp Interview

On Wednesday at 1:30 PM Room 14 and the year sixes last year are getting interviewed by Seven Sharp with Doug Wilson.
Doug Wilson wrote a book about us and he will make a sequel.
The title of our books is, "Don't mess with these kids!"
The book is about when Room 14  goes on camp and are ready to come home but the bus does not arrive and then they discover that a government B.E.R.P has taken over the Waikato Region. Read the book to find out more. I am looking forward to being on TV.

The important thing about Kaspar is that I am funny. Kaspar is crazy and awesome. Kaspar likes to play soccer and watching movies and playing games. But the most important thing about Kaspar is that I'm funny.

Hot Air Balloon Visit

Room 14's rememberance

This morning we made some crosses. First someone passed around the white wood. After that we got a sticker and we put it on the big piece of the wood. Then we got the little piece of wood and put it on the big piece of  the wood. Once we have done that we we passed on more stickers of poppys and we put the stickers of poppys above the small stick. And once weve done that we get a name of a solidger to remember them and put it on the small stick. we did this to remember the people from world war one. The people can see it at the flag.

Tabloids Day

Last Friday we had tabloids. My favorite  part was the tug of war and the parachute because we got to go under the parachute and trap the air under the parachute. For tug of war we did house vs house. The best part of tug of war was rm 15 doing tug of war.
